Clinical Psychology Department
Clinical Psychology Department provides specialist psychological assessments of patients with complex mental health needs based upon the appropriate use, interpretation and integration of complex psychological data from a variety of sources including psychological and neuropsychological Tests for Dementia, and Personality tests, self-support measure, Projective tests, rating scales and clinical interviews. We are engaged in providing evidence based treatment services that includes psychotherapy (Evidence based e.g. BPT) in general for all those having psychiatric/psychological problems and CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) for selected patients specifically having depression/ anxiety, obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD), eating disorder, adjustment and emotional problems for young people, addiction and post traumatic stress disorder, memory disorders and community reinforcement approach (CRA) for all clients having alcohol and addiction problems. In addition the clinical department provides a non-invasive procedural treatment for a range of psychiatric disorders known as EEG Neurofeedback for the first time in this country.
