Blood Transfusion Service at KIH is reliable and efficient. We accrediated with Islamabad Blood Transfusion Authority (IBTA). Our mission is to provide safe blood to every patient. We are offering all types of blood & its components including Whole Blood, Red Cell Concentrate (RCC), Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP) and Platelet Concentrate (PLT). We have an automated and flawless gel-based blood cross match system that ensures the compatibility of blood/components up to 100%. Screening of Blood and its components against the infectious and communicable diseases is vital. In compliance of this, presently we have Electro-Chemiluminescence Immunoassay (ECLIA) methodology from world renowned diagnostic companies.
