KIH provides specialist consultations, heart investigations and interventional treatment. Facilities include clinics for adults, children and heart-rhythm disorders, with catheterisation laboratories and coronary-care support.

• Coronary angioplasty and interventions on peripheral, carotid and renal arteries
• Catheter-based assessment of the right and left heart
• Balloon treatment for narrowed valves and aortic coarctation
• Catheter procedures for ASD and PDA
• Pacemaker and defibrillator insertion
• Pericardial drainage and intra-aortic balloon support

Diagnostic services

• ECG recordings and exercise testing
• Echocardiography through the chest or oesophagus, including stress studies
• Ambulatory blood-pressure and heart-rhythm monitoring
• Tilt-table assessment and coronary CT imaging
