Overview
Spondylolisthesis most often affects the lower back. Many people have mild symptoms that improve with treatment.
Symptoms

- Tight hamstring muscles
- Numbness or weakness in the legs
Causes and risk factors
Causes include age-related wear, stress fractures in young athletes, birth defects and injury.
Diagnosis
X-rays, CT or MRI show the slip and nerve compression.
Treatment
Treatment includes physiotherapy, painkillers, injections and surgery for severe cases.
