KIH Blood Bank got License from IBTA

We are pleased to announce that KIH Blood Bank has been granted approval and license in the first inspection by Islamabad Blood Transfusion Authority (IBTA), Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation & Coordination.
We got a formal “Registration & Lenience Certificate” from the authority last day that would remain valid till March 31, 2015.
IBTA has the mandate through an ordinance from the Ministry of National Health Services, Regulation & Coordination to inspect and register all the blood banks working within Islamabad Capital Territory (ICT). Since there is a lawful cause hence it is mandatory for each blood bank to undergo this inspection process and must have this license prior to start its transfusion services.
