Kulsum International Hospital Celebrates World Mental Health Day
World Mental Health day is a day for global mental health education, awareness and advocacy. Its was first celebrated in 1992 at the initiative of the World Federation for Mental Health, a global mental health organization with members and contacts in more then 150 countries. This day, each October, thousands of supports come to celebrate this annual awareness program to bring attention to Mental Illness and its major effects on people’s life worldwide. To commemorate this day’s importance, a seminar on “World Mental Health Day” was held on 13th October, at Kulsum International Hospital. Dr. Muhammad Tahir Khalily, our clinical Psychologist delivered a comprehensive speech on Depression, where the core topic was “Depression- a Global Crisis”. He explained in detail the symptoms as well as the remedies of this mental disease. Participants found this seminar very helpful.
