What the service includes
Sputum tests, CT scans, bronchoscopy, long courses of targeted antibiotics or antifungal medicines, airway clearance physiotherapy and vaccinations.
What to expect
Treatment often lasts months, with regular review of symptoms, tests and side effects. Airway clearance exercises are an important part of daily care.
