Treatment options
Options include lubricating eye drops and gels, warm compresses and eyelid hygiene, anti-inflammatory drops, treatment of eyelid glands, punctal plugs and changes to screen habits and environment.
What to expect
An eye specialist examines the tear film and eyelids. Treatment usually continues long term, with adjustments based on how your symptoms respond.
