Good sleep is essential for health. Untreated sleep disorders increase the risk of high blood pressure, heart disease, accidents and poor mood.

- People who snore loudly or stop breathing during sleep
- People who feel very sleepy during the day
- People with difficulty falling or staying asleep
- People with unusual movements or behaviour during sleep
What the service includes
Sleep assessment, home or hospital sleep studies, CPAP therapy, treatment for insomnia including cognitive behavioural therapy, and medicines for narcolepsy.
What to expect
You may be asked to keep a sleep diary. A sleep study records breathing, oxygen and other signals overnight.
