Prof. Dr. Iqbal Saifullah Khan

For Prof. Dr. Iqbal Saifullah Khan, medicine was never simply a profession; it was a lifelong commitment to serving people with compassion, dignity, and purpose. From building a successful medical career abroad to returning home with a vision to transform healthcare in Pakistan, his journey reflects dedication not only to cardiac medicine but also to the wellbeing of the communities he serves. A distinguished cardiologist with internationally recognized credentials, Prof. Dr. Iqbal Saifullah Khan earned certifications as Diplomate of the American Board in Cardiovascular Disease and Internal Medicine. He is also a Fellow of the Royal College of Physicians Edinburgh, the American Heart Association, and the American College of Cardiology. Over the years, he established himself as a respected name in the field of cardiology, combining clinical excellence with patient-centered care. Despite opportunities to continue a promising global medical career, Prof. Dr. Iqbal Saifullah Khan chose to return to Pakistan with a greater purpose: to contribute towards strengthening healthcare services in his homeland. His… passion for advancing cardiac care and making quality treatment accessible to patients became the foundation of a vision that would later shape Kulsum International Hospital. Named in honor of his mother, Kulsum International Hospital was established as a reflection of his deep respect for family values, compassion, and service to humanity. What began as a vision to create a center of excellence in healthcare, particularly in cardiac diseases and care, gradually evolved into one of Pakistan’s leading healthcare institutions. Alongside his clinical and institutional leadership, Prof. Dr. Iqbal Saifullah Khan also served as Former Head of the Department of Cardiology at Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, where he played an important role in mentoring future medical professionals and advancing cardiac services in the public healthcare sector. As Chairman of Saif Healthcare Limited, Prof. Dr. Iqbal Saifullah Khan continues to guide Kulsum International Hospital with the same principles that inspired its foundation: excellence in healthcare, compassion for patients, and an unwavering commitment to serving Pakistan.
Asif Saifullah Khan

Appointed as CEO of Saif Healthcare Limited in 2024, Mr. Asif Saifullah Khan brings a diverse background shaped by international legal expertise, corporate leadership, and strategic business management. Mr. Khan was called to the Bar of England & Wales in 2011. He subsequently built a successful legal career across London and Dubai, working with leading international law firms and asset management firms. Over the years, he has advised on complex corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters. His professional experience also extends into the technology sector, where he worked with start-ups and growing enterprises on corporate strategy, structuring, and… fundraising initiatives. He also serves as a non-executive director on the boards of Saif Power Ltd, Saif Energy Ltd, Saif Textile Mills Ltd, and Kohat Textile Mills Ltd. As CEO of Kulsum International Hospital, Mr. Khan is focused on strengthening operational excellence, advancing patient-centered healthcare delivery, and supporting the institution’s continued growth. His leadership reflects a forward-looking approach that combines innovation, governance, and a strong commitment to quality healthcare. Mr. Khan holds an MA degree in Law from University of Cambridge (2010) and a BA degree in International Studies and Arabic (minor) from Emory University (2007).

Mr. Faisal Saifullah Khan serves as the Chief Operating Officer of Saif Healthcare Limited. Mrs. Hoor Yousafzai

With over 25 years of leadership across healthcare, sustainability, energy, textiles, and consulting, Mrs. Hoor Yousafzai, FCA, is a distinguished business leader known for combining financial expertise with social impact and sustainable development. A Fellow Chartered Accountant with master’s degrees in Economics and Computer Science, she built her professional foundation at KPMG and now serves as CEO and board member within the Saif Group of Companies, where she has led enterprise modernization, ESG integration, and strategic governance initiatives across diverse sectors. She… also played a leading role in developing Pakistan’s first municipal waste-to-resource project in collaboration with international partners, reflecting her commitment to climate resilience and innovation. Alongside her corporate leadership, she serves as CEO of the Akbar Kare Institute, a leading non-profit that has provided free rehabilitation services to over 28,000 children with neurodevelopmental disorders, including cerebral palsy and spina bifida. Guided by ethical governance, inclusivity, and long-term sustainability, she continues to champion initiatives that create meaningful economic, social, and environmental impact.
Osman Saifullah Khan

Osman Saifullah Khan joined the Saif Group in 1995 and has held a variety of strategic and operating roles since that time. He is the Vice Chairman of the Saif Group. He is the founder of the Mediterranean Textile Company (MTC), Egypt's largest exporter of premium yarn and the premier Pakistani investment in that country. Osman Khan has also led the Group’s Principal Investing and Business Development teams and serves on the Boards of the Group's Hospital, Power Generation, Oil and Gas Exploration, Real Estate, and Textile businesses, where he is an Advisor to Kohat Textile Mills Ltd (KTM). He is the co-founder of SkyElectric Pvt. Ltd., Pakistan’s pioneering and fastest-growing solar energy company. He currently serves on the Board of Directors of that company, having previously served as CEO. Mr. Khan has served on the Advisory Committee to the Planning Commission of Pakistan, served as a member of the Policy Board of the Securities and Exchange Commission of Pakistan (SECP), and is a member of the governing body of the Ghulam Ishaq Khan Institute of Engineering Sciences and Technology (GIKI), one of Pakistan's preeminent institutions for higher learning in the engineering… sciences. He is also a member of the Pakistan Business Council (PBC), one of Pakistan's most respected advocacy groups. Osman Khan is the founder of the Wadaan Foundation, a not-for-profit organization that focuses on water, health, and education issues in the southern districts of Pakistan’s Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Province. He also serves on the Boards of Teach for Pakistan and the Pakistan Alliance for Maths and Science. Osman Khan currently serves as an independent director on the Board of Sui Northern Gas Pipelines Ltd. (SNGPL), Pakistan's largest gas utility, and also on the Board of SMEDA – Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority. Osman Saifullah Khan was elected unopposed to the Senate of Pakistan in March 2012 for a six-year term and represented the Federal Capital, Islamabad. During this time, he was also Chairman of the Senate Standing Committee on Science & Technology. His term in the Senate ended in March 2018. Osman Khan has a Master’s degree in Engineering, Economics and Management from Christ Church, University of Oxford (1995), where he was a Britannia Scholar, and a Master’s degree in Business Administration (MBA) from the Graduate School of Business, Stanford University (2009).
Assad Saifullah Khan

Assad Saifullah Khan brings a diverse background in law, business leadership, and corporate governance to his role as Director of Saif Group of Companies. His professional journey reflects a combination of international education, legal expertise, and strategic leadership across multiple sectors. Mr. Khan graduated from the University of Pennsylvania in 2004 with a major in History and Culture and a minor in French. He later moved to London to pursue his legal education, completing his Graduate Diploma in Law from the College of Law in 2005, followed by the Bar Vocational Course at the Inns of Court School of Law in 2007. During his legal training, he gained valuable experience working with Orr, Dignam & Co. in Islamabad and as a caseworker for the Right Honourable Harriet Harman MP in the United Kingdom. After completing his studies, he interned at J.D. Spicer & Co. in London before… returning to Pakistan in 2007. He subsequently joined Hassan & Hassan in Lahore, where he worked under the guidance of Dr. Parvez Hassan on company law and corporate matters for several multinational organizations. Over the years, Mr. Khan transitioned into leadership roles within the Saif Group and currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer of Kohat Textile Mills Limited and Saif Textile Mills Limited. He also serves on the boards of several Group companies, including Saif Textile Mills Limited, Saif Power Limited, Saif Energy Limited, and Saif Healthcare Limited. As Head of the Legal Department for the Group, Mr. Khan oversees legal and contractual matters across subsidiaries and associated companies, bringing with him extensive experience from both Pakistan and the United Kingdom. As Director of Saif Healthcare Limited, Mr. Assad Saifullah Khan continues to contribute towards strengthening institutional excellence, innovation, and quality healthcare services at Kulsum International Hospital.
Rana Muhammad Shafi

With a professional journey spanning more than five decades, Rana Muhammad Shafi has played a significant role in shaping financial leadership and corporate governance within some of Pakistan’s leading business institutions. His career reflects a lifelong commitment to discipline, strategic thinking, and institutional growth. Mr. Shafi began his professional career in Pakistan’s textile industry, where he gained extensive experience in accounting, financial management, and administration through his work with organizations including Nishat Mills Ltd., Mansoor Textile Mills Ltd., and Ali Textile Mills Ltd. These early years laid the foundation for a career defined by financial expertise and operational leadership. In January 1981, he joined the Saif Group, beginning a long-standing association that would span over four decades. Over the years, he steadily progressed through multiple leadership roles including Cost & Management Accountant, Chief Accountant, Commercial Manager, General Manager Finance, Executive Director Finance, Chief Financial Officer, and Advisor. His journey within the Group reflects not only professional excellence, but also the trust and confidence earned through… decades of dedicated service. Throughout his career, Mr. Shafi has advised the Boards of Saif Group companies on investments, mergers and acquisitions, treasury management, capital markets, and financial strategy for new ventures. His expertise in securitization of assets and corporate finance has contributed significantly to the Group’s growth and long-term stability. Beyond his corporate responsibilities, Mr. Shafi has remained committed to professional development and knowledge sharing. He has conducted numerous workshops on corporate accounting, leadership management, and treasury financing, mentoring professionals and contributing to the advancement of financial management practices in Pakistan. He is also a Certified Director under the Listed Companies (Code of Corporate Governance) Regulations 2017. Mr. Shafi holds a Master’s degree in Commerce from the University of the Punjab and pursued professional studies with the Institute of Cost and Management Accountants of Pakistan. Today, as Advisor to the Board, he continues to bring invaluable financial insight, experience, and strategic guidance to the institutions he serves, including Saif Healthcare Limited and Kulsum International Hospital.
Jehannaz Saifullah Khan
