Kulsum International Hospital

Kulsum International Hospital is a certified participant of College of American Pathologists (CAP) Proficiency Testing & Quality Management Program. Quality conscious instinct of laboratory professionals has directed their attention towards “ISO 15189:2007 Accreditation.” This standard accreditation is specific for Pathological Laboratories and Pakistan National Accreditation Council (PNAC) is an authorized body to accredit pathological laboratories within Pakistan. KIH Laboratory started its journey for the above mentioned accreditation last year and has now arranged an awareness workshop (Courtesy: PNAC) for peer group which is in fact one of the chain-step of the series. Thus KIH, once again, has provided a platform to the professionals for capacity building in quality diagnostics.
Mr. Ateeq-ur-Rehman Memon, Director Trainings Pathological Labs, was the facilitator of the workshop from PNAC. This valuable workshop was attended by many laboratory personnel of the twin cities including Dr. Haroon Khan, Dr. Aftab Ahmed Khan, Zain Ahmed, Tahir Jamal, Wajid Kiyani, Sami Ullah, Noreen Ajmal, Farhana Naz, Shafqat Ali, Najam Farooq, Maqsood Ali, Aamir Mehmood, Azhar Rashid, Muhammad Ayaz, Abdul Rauf and Zeeshan Ali. At the end of the day Dr. Saleem Khan (Chief Operating Officer, KIH) gave profound vote of thanks to the facilitator and the participants.
