The KIH Laboratory is equipped with most modern equipments from world famous diagnostic companies. Fully automated analyzers are connected with hi-tech LIS/HMIS so patient results are directly entered into the system without any human intervention, minimizing pre analytical and post analytical errors. KIH Lab is very keen and particular in quality control. Lab is following ISO 1589 quality management system.

Blood Bank

Blood Transfusion Service at KIH is reliable and efficient. Our mission is to provide safe blood to every patient. We are offering all types of blood components including Whole Blood, Red Cell Concentrate (RCC), Fresh Frozen Plasma (FFP) and Platelet Concentrate. We have an automated and flawless gel-based blood cross match system that ensures the compatibility of blood/components up to 100%. Screening of Blood and its components against the infectious and communicable diseases is very vital hence no blood donation is accepted without screening.
